variable filters on report
Another nice feature would be to be able to adapt the filters without needing to edit the report. For example: report invoices for supplier x. would be nice to change the name of the supplier to supplier Y and rerun the report with the need to edit the report, save it and run it again.

Improve the filters on reports
When creating reports you can add filters which is great. Unfortunately the report filters (in edit reports) are insufficient, compared to the filters you can set on column names when you ran the report.
For example: When you have run a report (with less then 2000 rows) you can click on the filter icon on the column name and select way more options than you can on the report filters itself. why are they not available in the edit report immediatly? This might help to overcome the 2000 row limit as well.
some examples are: "Contains", "does not contain", "starts…

Missing fields that exist in other reports
When creating reports for our team members we notice that some fields are available in one Report, whilst other reports do not have the same fields available. Yet the base is the same. To clarify my point:
I create a new report for 'invoices' => here is have for example the options to include Current Task, Current Handler and Label(s).
Now when i create a new report for 'Invoices - coding', i do have the option to select invoice fields, but not all of the fields that are available under the previous report. It would be great to see all…21 votes -
Reporting: Be able to retrieve the reason why the invoice was stuck in Connect
For all Open, and possible Archived, invoices I would like to retrieve the reason why the invoice wasn't touchless.
Eg: "No IO found"
Currently it's possible, via the reporting tool, to extract how each row was connected but it's not possible to find out why this wasn't done automatically.
Perhaps this information could be available in the 'History' as well.

Possibility to time set a user
It would be great with the possibility to set an "expiration date" on a user, so that the user will not be able to log in (inactivated) after a specific date. This would be a great security aspect connected to for example consultants that should be using Medius for a short time period.

Role-based home screens - Approval
The way the system works today is that all users have the same role-based home screen. In today's solution, this screen is adapted to how accounting staff work. I think the screen for a CEO or other senior executives should look different. I think that it should be less focus on accounting details (GL Account, cost center or other dimensions) and more focus on history tab. Who has done what in the workflow is more important It may also be considered whether there are other roles in the organization that should have their own customized home screen.

Ability to reply to comments
As a user in charge of reviewing and approving documents in Mediusflow, I would like that when I'm posting some comments, the responder should have the ability to reply to the comments so if I ask comments to multiple responders I can easily see the different answers along with the original query.
If the responder received the comment per email because it has been mentioned in it, he should be able to reply to the email and the reply will be added to a reply to the comments.

Windows management options
AP clerks typically have 3 screens split visible at once on their workstation while they are reviewing/coding invoices in MediusFlow.
Add the option to split / resize / anchor or float those 3 screens in separate or assembled windows to make work easier and more ergonomic.4 votes -
Add criteria in Advanced restriction rules for order based vs expense invoices
Add the option on advanced restriction rules to activate for all invoices, order based invoices or non order-based (expense) invoices only.
The rules on dimensions should not apply in the same way whether the coding is manual in MediusFlow, or coming from Purchase orders where they can be defaulted in the ERP.
Same with mandatory dimensions, which is redundant with the ERP if made mandatory in Medius for order-based, but should apply for expense non-order based.1 vote -
Improve Accrual Reporting
Presently customers must run two reports and combine them in excel (outside of MediusFlow) to support their accrual requirements.
1.Please add the field "Delivery Date" into the Purchase Order-Coding BETA report
or
2.Create an Accrual Report
this would need to include the following key fields:
a-Purchase Order Identifier
b-Purchase Order Line Number
c-Purchase Order Register Date
d- Purchase Order Currency
e- Purchase Order Amount
f-Purchase Order Line - Received Amount
g- Purchase Order Line - Connected Amount
h -Proportionally Accrued amount
i - Purchase Order Supplier
j - Dimension 1-12, Free text Dimensions....
k - Actual Delivery Date

User Summary of Responsible values
It would be helpful if there was a spot in the user's profile that showed which dimension values they are responsible for and who they are set up to supervise. This would make it much easier when we have an employee leave so I know what needs to be changed before I make them inactive.

Ability to make users inactive when they have open documents
Currently users cannot be made inactive when they have open documents. This creates audit issues when an employee has been terminated.
Suggestions
- User can be made inactive
- Maybe a function to bulk transfer their open documents to another user21 votes -
Advanced Search - Dimension 2 - Able to search for more than one value
Hi,
Is it possible to use a separator, e.g. ; or , to search for more than one value for dimension 2 please?
For attached image, currently I am only able to search one dimension 2 value at a time.
For example, how do I search for dimension 1 (420) linked to multiple dimension 2 values (e.g. 49410, 56110, 56410, 56420 etc) at the same time?
Any ideas please?
Thanks very much,
kind regards,

Possibility to include the Comment field to the Advanced Search report
It should be possible to add the Comment field to the Advanced Search report (first page where you search for the correct document). This would make it easier to find the correct document since you would have an overview of all the comments, without having to click in to the document.

reporting tool - have in user related reports a time stamp when user was created to filter on user creation date
On user related reports set up for monitoring (e.g. user roles, authorization groups, follow up groups, ..) it is good to have the information when the user was created (time stamp) in order to filter on e.g. newly created users. Since we have some hundreds of users with a lot of related roles, authorization groups etc. it is good to have a filter to reduce the output list in order to speed up creation of report and review of the results.
3 votesWill it be sufficient to add the “imported timestamp” to one of the existing user reports (i.e “User – Roles”)?

reporting tool - report function available for document approval tool
Currently document approval module is not integrated in the reporting function. It is only possible to create reports in advance search. For the case we would be forced to migrate from Advance search to report function we would need the capability to create reports on documents from document module (given that we need to monitor them).
Following values are needed for the report:
1. Company
2. Custom Text Field 1 - Supplier name
2. Document Number
3. Document Type
4. Current Task
5. Current Handler
6. Created Date
7. Custom Date field 1 - receipt date
8. Custom Date field…4 votes -
reporting tool - have report on dimension responsible available
In advance search we can create a report that shows us who is the (dimension) responsible for a certain dimension value (on which level). Since we use dimension as central assignment key in our workflow, the monitoring of the settings on these values is a key for us. In new reporting tool such report does not exist. When we need to migrate from advance search to new reporting function this report must be supported.
The report should contain following data:- [Medius] Dimension value (1,2,…6)
- Dimension [Dimension name, external id]
- (Dimension) Status
- (Dimension) Company
- Dimension responsible [user name]
- Imported Time stamp

reporting tool - have report on follow up groups added to users
In current advance search a report can be created on which follow up groups are added to a user. This report is lacking in the new reporting tool. Since follow up groups are an essential user right we need to monitor that. Once we would be forced to migrate from advance search to reporting tool this report must be available.
Report should contain following values:
1. User (First name, Last name, user name)
2. Follow up company (or level)
3. Follow up group (assigned to 1)3 votes -
Stop invoices from posting when negative quantity deviations are determined
Currently, we stop these invoices from posting by not having any automatic coding for negative qty deviations. Problem is however that our provisions are now created wrongly.
Therefore, we would like to add new document validation rules + validator:
1) a document validation rule for negative quantity
2) a document validation rule for positive quantity
3) a validator that really doesn't allow us to overrule the validation rule when a negative quantity deviation exist. If these rules and validators are in place, we can use automatic coding for quantity deviations, so our provisions can be made correctly.
