  3. Due to 3-waymatching, we have to approve deviations on unitprices and qty on line level. However, the deviation tolerance should not be on line level, and certainly not on unit price or qty, but should be possible on total invoice net amount.

  4. Coding balance should show correct amount when amount on line level + vat code has been inputted and not first when you add the account on coding.

    Currently AP team cannot check the document balance before sending invoice to user for coding/approval!

  5. Business case
    Deviations on PO invoices are validated to Approver’s limit. If limit is exceeded, the deviation is sent for authorization.
    There is a need for distributing these deviations to a functional role, e.g. Purchasing manager.
    • Current
    It is only possible to distribute to UserResponsible, SupplierResponsible, CompanyResponsible.
    These roles are often used for other purposes, and can’t be applied in this case.
    • Expected
    It should be possible to distribute based on more categories/roles. At least an additional responsible on company level – e.g. CompanyPurchasingResponsible.

  6. I want a "Stop in Post Control"-rule for invoices where at least one line has been coded manually.
    The invoice would stop even if the invoice was coded automatically first and then the coding was changed manually.

  7. Miss function to send the (attached) documents to specified users per mail as this is possible for expense invoices, contracts, .. directly out from the document.
    This function is quite helpful to inform or instruct users on a created document what to do or what is expected from them. Also when it comes to follow up or monitor pending documents.

  8. We plan to use document approval for c commercial documents that can be related to a supplier. For this it would be very convenient to have the possibility to add the supplier (from invoice master data) to a document as you can do this for all types of invoices, purchase orders or contracts.
    Currently there is only the possibility to link such documents to e.g. a specific invoice but not to find this document under supplier search or reporting.

  9. I want a new feature where we can disable the creation of the combined authorization group (several authorization groups is added together taking the highest limits from all). Today Medius creates a combined authorization group and then it compares the invoice with this temporary group. I want to have the option to skip this combined authorization group and check each authorization group at a time. First check authorization group 1 and then check authorization group 2 if the invoice couldn't be approved through the first one.   10. In case of missing or N.A. cost center owner, MediusFlow should automatically reject the invoice (after the first approver has approved) and return it to the accountant’s queue for correction.

    The current functionality sends the invoice to the manager of the first approver who may not be the right cost center owner.

If you manually connect an invoice to contract/invoice plan and to concrete period (see attached) the system does not accept this connection but starts a recalculation of the due date and that although period was chosen, due date of invoice = due date in invoice plan – so need to perform several deviation handling activities which are completely unnecessary (see document) – I think, if manual connection of invoice is done and due date of invoice = due date of invoice plan should be enough and no further deviation handling actions should be necessary

  13. Before using Medius we wrote voucher numbers on all invoice when archiving them.

    Now its easier to find an invoice in medius then going through binders.

    But we still need to write the voucher numbers on the invoices before handing them over to public accountants or governmental representatives.

    Therefore it would be very nice if Medius were able to put the final voucher number on the invoice.

    I imagine this could be accomplished by Medius by creating an "overlay" with the voucher number on a white background. This overlay should be placed x-centimeters top line and x-centimeters from the right…

  14. For future reference it would be nice to know why we opted to Short Pay an invoice using that Exception type. If the exception required a comment, then the user would be forced to add one when connecting it to an order based invoice.

    The same would also be beneficial when using that Dimension directly in Expense, but that seems more complicated as you'd effectively be allowing a Dimension to require a comment.

  17. In order to properly assign Tax amount line for VERTEX calculation, we need add "Tax group" in the Enterprise - Automatic Coding - Automatic coding of tax

    Currently, we need use multiple Business rules, separate for PO and for NON-PO in order to properly match tax line (attached screen "tax group")

    If this option will be available, we will not need business rules and it will be system solution.
