  1. It would be very useful to have a tab in the invoice approval screen that acts like a dashboard that shows all historical invoices for just that vendor. This would help ensure a more thorough approval process.

    with reference to the Medius Support Desk ticket #436969 we have a demand by the reporting:

    Our goal is to display all of the invoices (incoming invoices + document import + open invoices) in one report because based on the feedback by the support desk it is not possible at the moment.

  3. Current priority for invoice line connection:
    1. Detail
    2. LineTotal
    3. Exception type

    Our proposal:
    1. Exception type
    2. Detail (all invoice lines)
    3. LineTotal

    1. We have experience that PO and GR automatically connects to invoice lines with rounding or other charges on LineTotal connection. If the priority changes, and exception type has prio 1, this will not be an issue any more.

    2. Current priority for automatic connection on invoice line is one invoice line at time. If system fails to connect on Detail, it tries to connect the same invoice line on LineTotal. See example in uploaded file why…

  4. We'd like to see more dimension values so we can add more fields on the coding lines for our sub client specific tracking items. 12 we've found is insufficient.

  5. If Medius allows to book correction entries on quantity without negative goods receipt, then goods receipt will get open to book invoice with right quantity.

  7. We need a user forum that we can bounce questions or ideas off of other users of the platform - Support is generally justa FAQ referral to something that may or may not be helpful - the FAQ section is usually written to a higher comprehension level than I have of the Medius software as well. A live interactive forum would be amazing to talk to other users to see what they do in a certain situation that is "normal" or need advice.

  8. Currently, the OOB rejection process does not keep record of the emails sent to a vendor, nor does it store an email address for the vendor. This forces users to go outside of Medius to communicate with a Vendor about invoice rejections.

    Rejection Process - Proposed

    1. Medius stored an email for each Vendor account that would be used for invalidated invoices.

    2. On an invoice, when you clicked "Invalidate", a box appeared that confirmed invalidation and asks if an email should be sent to the Vendor.

    3. Medius would have an email template that says something like this:

  9. The ability to add two, potentially more custom list items to the invoice header, where List1 you would select a header category, and that would filter the items in the second list. We currently have very large lists, which are difficult to find items in them. Having the ability to select a category in one list, that would select the relevant sub categories in the second list would make things much easier.

  10. Hi,

    When handling invoices and routing/approving them we always use the text-box to fill in some details about the invoice. Unfortunately the textbox is so small that if you write longer texts not all of the text will be seen from an overview layout (you have to go into the textbox manually and scroll to the end in order to see the full text). When controlling that everything is correct while approving it is time consuming to scroll to the end everytime to make sure all the correct details are in the textbox.   11. I would like for it to be possible to change the order of the tabs for the dashbords (so I can put the dashboard I use most first). As it is right now they seem to be put in a random order automatically, not even in alphabetic order.

  12. We often have to sum up multiple invoice lines to code the total to one account. We would like to be able to highlight the lines that are coding to the same account so the approver can easily see what is being totaled in order to verify these calculations.

    There is a draw and/or text tool available that we could use to accomplish this, but changes made on the invoice image with the draw tool do not save for others to view. I understand the desire to protect the integrity of the original invoice, but I think highlighting would allow…

  13. Capture automatically rotates invoices for OCR, but does not save this alignment. In route step we can rotate the invoice image, but can not save for other users to view the proper alignment.

    Would like to be able to have the alignment from Capture step save or be able to rotate and save alignment during route step.

  14. As an admin user it would be fine to have an option to assign the users for the bulk operation with just one click.

    At the moment we need choose all of the users one-by-one which is very time consuming (for eg. by 150 users) if I would like to modify for all of the users something with bulk operation

AP and Approvers would like to be able to copy text from the invoice image when coding the invoice in distribute or approval stages so they don't have to manually type it - for instance copying part of a line description such as a user name or a header reference (which isn't captured as part of capture process) from the image and then paste it as plain text into a free text dimension field when coding.

  16. The option to configure approval workflows to have Reason Codes mandatory when rejected, similar to how a comment can be mandatory when an invoice is rejected.

    This would make reporting on the configurable Reason Codes very useful.

    1. Each time we have to adjust the bar to read complete name of current handler in Dashboard. Extending length of display would resolve this and save the time

  19. Create a separate scheduled job to send out escalation notifications. Currently, this notification is included in the ReminderSenderJob. We need a separate job in order to adjust the repeat time for escalation notifications.
