We should be able to change the effective posting date priorities. For instance, it would be very helpful to make the priority "Date set automatically based on Posting date rule - if periods are enabled" priority #2 and move "Date set manually" to priority #3. There are instances where we need to manually change the posting date to be different from the invoice date (e.g., the vendor's invoice date is in August but relates to July services). So in this instance, we would change the posting date to 7/31 and then send for approval. If the invoice is still sitting with the approver when AP closes the period in Medius, the posting date does not automatically update to 8/1 because the manual date overrides. But there's no instance where we'd ever want the manual date to override if the period is closed. We'd always want it to auto-update to 8/1. This causes a lot of unnecessary manual entry.
