As the current step up, one couldn't allocate approval to the same approval level pool persons (for example: in one event approval hierarchy, there are three members ( AP 1, AP 2, AP 3), and if AP2 is on vacation or needs to assign his duties to AP1, AP1 needs to approve AP1, and after that, AP2 needs to approve AP2, but the current system doesn't have the capability to do the same. so please check the possibility of adding this.
