This would really make things easier for us at AP, so often we get a question to fix something with the invoice - and then we have to chase up the person who locked it or wait for it to unluck. A "back-button" is a brilliant idea!

This is indeed a very annoying issue, since it interrupts our workflow.

We (from Account Payable) often have to tag the approver in a comment to request for quick approval with urgent issues which then results in the manager contacting us because they can't approve it immediately since it is still in use by AP (while we already left the invoice). And then we have to explain they have to wait for another 10-15 min.

the lock interval is way too long!
If you are told you lock an invoice and then leave it it still takes 5 or often 10 minutes before it can be handled by someone else.

That leads to a lot of frustrations and increasing coffein levels in those who need to wait

I would like to vote for this 1000 times. We have frustrated employees every day waiting for an invoice to be "unlocked" after a different user has been in it. We can even exit Medius and web browser without unlocking the invoice. Especially frustrating when users are problem solving together and 1 needs to do 1 thing so another person can then do their part.
