Expand business log tracking & reporting
Add tracking and reporting of changes to document validation rules, company-wide settings, and anything else that could impact how transactions are systematically routed, stopped, etc. This is important for SOX requirements.

Our auditors would like to have a audit trail report where we can extract information regarding changes that have been done in all "base tables" (suppliers, users, authorizations groups, business rules, document validation rules etc.). We need a report where we can order the report for a specific time frame and show which action has been done (add, update, delete), old and new values for all fields and when and who has done the changes.
Example: If the auditors want to se if someone has changed the roles and authorization rules per user.

We're looking for a business log report to track changes in the connection & deviation tolerances on suppliers and company level (to comply with our Internal Control Framework).

Business case is when you perform an internal/external system audit you get questions like:
Master data:
This refers to accounting relevant information submitted via interfaces like dimension values, vat codes, supplier master data, payment conditions1. which are the current settings on these values
2. which changes were performed on these values – who has changed when what (from/to) on these values – of course manually, since understood from RFP that you don’t log automatic updates via interface update
This is traceability on what was status for accounting/ERP integration on accounting relevant values in the system at a given time
Relevant settings + configurations
This refers to relevant settings + configurations for workflow, ERP integration, companies (incl. virtual levels), error handling, .. triggering the most important activities in the system (integration, workflow, coding)
1. Which are the actual settings
2. Who has changed, what (from/to), when on these values
This for traceability of relevant system configurations which were in place at a given point of time in the system
