Payment status in Medius shows as "Cancelled" unexpectedly
We found that the D365 settlement data that feeds the Medius payment data includes records related to the D365 foreign currency revaluation process.
Since these settlement amounts are 0.00, it's causing Medius to display the payment status as cancelled because normally we expect the settlements to total to 0.00 when a payment has been applied/settlement and then reversed/canceled.
We have had discussions with Medius about updating the Medius integration with D365 so that the Medius payment information excludes such transactions in a future release.
Medius is currently evaluating this feedback, and based on our discussions to date, we expect this to be included within the next 2 releases ideally (by year end), assuming the feedback is formally accepted. The acceptance is pending review by the Medius R&D/product team.
We will be able to see the changes once we update our D365 Medius Connector to that release (or a later release).
