Currently notifications can be generated for a purchase requistion that has been sitting in an inbox beyond a specified number of days. This also has the option to escalate to the user's supervisor after a specified number of days.

Unfortunately escalate only notifies the supervisor and doesnt give them rights to approve the requisiton. This must still be done by the original approver.

This effectively means the requistion is stuck in the original approvers inbox until they take action, which seems to defeat the purpose of an escalation. We would like escalations to enable the supervisor to have approval rights.

Maybe this could be extended to anyone further up the approval chain can approve a requistion at any time (by searching for it ie it isnt in their inbox), This would help expedite urgent requisitions to be approved).
